Gama Heli Trap Lure

Pheromone trap & lure for Helicoverpa armigera is a bio-chemical pheromone which functions by attracting male moths and thus,, to be used in pest management programs for monitoring of Helicoverpa armigera.

Trap placement and use:
For Monitoring: Use 4-5 traps per hectare; hang in appropriate locations with wire or string. Record trap counts on every night. For Mass trapping: Accomplished with trap densities of 6-8 traps per hectare depending on size of Helicoverpa population after monitoring number of moths in traps used for monitoring. The pheromone lure lasts 15 days and can be replaced by another lure.

Note: Traps and lure for monitoring other pests such as Spodoptera spp, Scirpophaga spp, Earias spp, etc are also available. Always use Gama Heli-trap with Gama Heli-Lure
