Siwa is one of 8 of the most remote and isolated areas in the world , meaning that pollution of the salt is non existent and this aids the production of a very high quality salt indeed.
The Salt extracted from our mining fields in Siwa is principally known and recognised for its low moisture content (ranging from .04% up to .08) and its exceptionally high purity of Sodium Chloride of 99.26% minimum.
