Hot Metal Detector With Fiber Optic System

Sensitive to infrared radiation, the DC 2038 is a Hot Metal Detector for material at temperatures at or above 500 A C. The special design of this sensor and its rugged construction allow it to withstand the severe environmental conditions found in the steel industry. The fiber optics permit detection of products which are difficult to detect (due to physical obstructions, space limitations, etc.) even in areas of high ambient temperature.
