Hot plate welding is a kinds of thermal plastic welding technique capable of high welding strength and perfect air-tightness plastic joining. It is mostly applied for challenge welding plastic joining in large size and complex geometric design.During hot platen plastic welding, two plastic halves are held by jigs and move to be molten by heating by hot platen, after which the two plastic halves become re-solidified to achieve joining under high pressure.

MP-SONIC design and manufactures hot plate controlling action by pneumatic system, servo motor system and hydraulic system, in different specification.
Pneumatic hot plate welder is in advantages of high action and lower cost, which is applies for the most hot plate welding application; Hydraulic system is advantages of high pressure force for welding, applied for hot plate welding which requests strong welding strength. Servo motor hot plate welding is in advantages of high speed, high precision control and easy welding process control, it is applied for challenging hot plate welding requests high precision and high speed, especially good for thermoplastic parts that requests low temperature welding.

For common hot plastic welding application, MP-SONIC developed two standard specification: the smaller one, mode MSH-5030, can finish welding area 340*260, and the bigger one, mode MSH-6050 can finished welding area 600*400.

Also for special application, MP-SONIC designs and manufactures hot plate welding specification basing on actual plastic parts and customer requirement.
