This is an air swept hammer mill having multiple rows beaters mounted on a shaft supported on a pair of heavy duty ball/roller bearings which are housed in dust tight chamber well protected from ingress of dust in to it and rotating with in casing of grinding chamber. It is equipped with feed hopper below which is a star feeder accuated by a pawl and ratchet mechanism. The grinding chamber is fitted with specially designed breaker plates to take impact of pieces thrown by the rotating hammers.
