Interactive Projector

The Interactive Projector allows presenters to annotate projected material in real time, interacting with both the audience and the computer-based presentation material right on the screen.

Unlike other interactive systems, the XIP2000 is self-contained and portable. It consists of a 2000 ANSI Lumen bright, XGA resolution, LCD Data / Video projector equipped with a wideangle zoom lens, and a built-in annotation system. It requires no installation, and can project on any acceptable surface.

With the XIP2000 the presenter can adjust the size of the image to meet the needs of the audience. Rather than being limited to working with a fixed screen area, the presenter can adjust the projected image of the XIP2000 up to 10 feet wide, and project from a distance no greater than the width of the image.

Built into the XIP2000 is a sensing system which detects the position of the supplied Light Pen or Light Pointer on the projection surface, and creates whatever the presenter writes, draws or displays with the pen or pointer on a software-generated transparent overlay on the projected computer image.

Software supplied with the XIP2000 offers a palette of opaque and transparent line widths and colors with which to annotate the projected image, along with a wide range of graphic shapes and devices. Annotated presentations can be saved for future reference, or even played back as a slide show.
