In another series of 24 cases oxyphenbutazone 2 tablet three times a day were given. On sequential analysis, anti-inflammatory response of liquorices was found to be equivalent ot that of oxyphenbutazone. The liquorices appeared to posses a more potent antipyretic and anti-oxydative activity in comparison to oxyphenbuttazone. Teh glycyrrhizinc acid drops were found to be effective both in acute and long standing cases o allergly. The trail was conducted on 32 cases. elieved cough, bronchial spasm and liquefied mucous.
