Kitasamycin is one of the macrolide antibiotics. It can inhibit the protein synthesis process to kill or restrain bacteria. Ita s easily aborbed in small intestine and quickly distribute into blood and all kind of organs such as liver, lung, kidney and muscle, and with long affecting time.

Another important characteristic is that kitasamycin is sensitive to most of strain which resist Penicillin, Terramycin and Aureomycin, also sensitive to some strain of resisting Erythrocin.
