COMPOSITION: 
Each uncoated tablet contains: 
Levonorgestrel
0.25 mg
Ethinylestradiol 0.05 mg
PHARMACOKINETICS:

LEVONORGESTREL:


Orally administred levonorgetrel
is rapidly and completely absorbed. Following ingestion of 0.25 mg Levonorgetrel
together with 0.05 mg Ethinylestradiol, maximum drug serum levels of about
4.3ng/ml are reacged at 1.0 hr. Therafter, levonorgetrel serum levels
decrease in 2 phases.
Levongorgetrel us excreted
as metabolites at about equal proportions with urine and feces.The
bioavailability is almost 100% of the dose administered. 
EHINYLESTRADIOL:

Orally administered Ethinylestradiol
is rapidly and completely absorbed. Following ingestion of 0.25 mg levongorgetrel
together with 0.05 mg Ethinylestradiol, maximum drug serum levels of about
116ng/mL are reaced at 1.3 hr. thereafter, Ehinylestradiol serum lvels
decrease in 2 phases.The mean bioavailability was found to be 40 to 60
% of the administered dose.
INDICATIONS:
 
1. Menstrual irregulararities
2. Dysmenorrhoea
3. Endometriosis
4. DUB

DOSAGE:
 

1 tablet daily from 5th day to 25th day of each cycle after meals for minimum 3 cycles.
