The flow from the launder may be taken off from either side of the tank; the outlet connection not used, being blanked off with a blind flange. Openings are provided in the cover and at the heel of the cleaning compartment for additional green liq-uor feed. Clean out and drain openings are also provided at the heel of the compartment.
