Raw manure is collected in Homogenization tank with solids content of 8 to 25% depending upon animal type. It can be diluted to 5 to 10% solids by adding fresh water or recycled process water. Then prepared slurry is pumped to Sustainable reactor where the biodegradation takes place and produce valuable biogas. CSTR mix the entire content of slurry and ensures uniform food to microorganisms and eliminating the stratification layer inside the reactor
The main product biogas is stored in gas holder tank; it acts as buffer between reactor and gas engine/burner. Hydrogen sulphide is removed from the biogas by biological scrubbing system before passing to gas engine. The produced electricity can be sold to local grid
The biologically stabilized by products of anaerobic digestion can be used in a number of ways, depending on local needs and resources.
