Aceclofenac, Paracetamol, And Serratiopeptidase Tablets are a combination of three medicines: aceclofenac (an anti-inflammatory and pain reliever), and paracetamol (a pain reliever), and serratiopeptidase (an anti-inflammatory proteolytic enzyme which is useful in reducing swelling). Aceclofenac is a parietal pain inhibitor and Serratiopeptidase is the enzyme that enhances the absorption of Paracetamol and protects stomach mucosa from the damage caused by anti Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs). It has been suggested that continuous use of NSAIDs leads to gastrointestinal ulceration, chronic gastritis, and ileitis. Hence the recommended dose of Proctozyme 15 contains aceclofenac, an anti-inflammatory agent, with serratiopeptidase enzyme which enhances the absorption of paracetamol into the blood system. Thus, it gives fast relief from pain and prevents ulcers.
