Manaslu Round Trek Services

This Manaslu Round Trek Services was officially opened to tourists in 1991, but mountaineering expeditions have long had access to the area. Manaslu (8,156m) was first attempted by a Japanese expedition from 1952 until 1956 when the first ascent was made. The trek is remote but geographically spectacular and culturally fascinating. The mountain views are magnificent and the Larkya pass is one of the most interesting Himalayan pass crossings. The local inhabitants of this region are direct descendants of Tibetans immigrants.
