Moxifloxacin belongs to fluoroquinolone class of antibiotic, and it acts by inhibiting topoisomerase II and topoisomerase IV which plays major roles in the partitioning of the chromosomal DNA during bacterial cell division. There is no cross-resistance between moxifloxacin and other class of antibiotics like macrolides, aminoglycoside or tetracyclines. Ketorolac tromethamine is NSAID which inhibits prostaglandin biosynthesis and thus on ocular administration reduces PGE2 levels in aqueous humor. Ketorolac Tromethamine has no significant effect on 10P however changes in I0P may occur after cataract surgery.

INDICATION:
Moxicon-K Eye Drops are indicated for the reduction of post-operative inflammatory conditions of the eye.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Instill one drop of MOXICON-K in the affected eye(s) three times a day. The frequency of instillation and duration of treatment may vary depending on the severity of the condition and the response to the treatment.
