HOW TO USE:This normally taken by mouth.Take medication 30 minutes before eating meal. Do not take medicine if you are skipping the meal.If you are taking any liquid like meals take more quantity OF Nateglinide to control your blood sugar.

HOW NATEGLINIDE WORKS:Nateglinide is a short acting antihyperglycemic agent which used to decrease the blood glucose level. Nateglinide acts by binding with the B cells of pancreas and by this process it stimulates the insulin from pancreas which inhibits the blood glucose level in body.

PHARMACOKINETICS OF NATEGLINIDE:Nateglinide rapidly absorbed after oral administration, it reach peak plasma concentration within 1 hr. the absolute bioavaibility of Nateglinide is approximately 73%.Half-life of Nateglinide is 1.5 hours in health person.If you take over dose of Nateglinide it can cause hypoglycaemia like effects.83% of Nateglinide eliminated from body by urination and the remaining residues eliminated by feces.

SIDE EFFECTS OF NATEGLINIDE:Normally Nateglinide cause weight gain of the patient.Nateglinide cause hypoglycaemia if you take overdose of it or you are already taking other diabetic medicine along with Nateglinide.Consuming alcohol along with Nateglinide medication and by lifting heavy loads and by not having enough calories also cause low sugar level in blood, which cause dizziness, weakness, un consciousness etc.The other symptoms like increase thirst, weakness, increase urination, drowsiness, fast irregular breathing seen in patient contact your doctor.
