Nicd / Ni-cd / Nickel Cadmium Cells And Packs

Ni-Cd uses Nickel Oxide Hydroxide and metallic cadmium as electrodes. Today, all consumer Nia Cd batteries use the "swiss roll" or "jelly-roll" configuration. This design incorporates several layers of positive and negative material rolled into a cylindrical shape. This design reduces internal resistance, as there is a greater amount of electrode in contact with the active material in each cell.

Ni-Cd or Nickel Cadmium Cells are available at a standard voltage of 1.2V per cell and with varying capacities and sizes.

We also supply Customized Battery packs made from Ni-Cd or Nickel Cadmium cells which meet your dimensional and electrical requirements. Packs are designed to include components such as fuses and thermal cut-offs for safety and long life of pack. Connectors can also be provided as per requirement.
