Trafigura has a strong global trading presence in the copper, lead, zinc concentrate and alumina markets. Our total raw material purchases are approximately seven million tons per year.

On the purchase side, we are particularly strong in the Americas, Africa and Australasia; whilst on the sales side China, India and Europe dominate our activities. The strategy of the department is to have a global presence and to differentiate Trafigura by offering logistics and financing services as well as trading solutions to customers.
