Domperidone and paracetamol is a combination medicine used for the symptomatic treatment of migraine, and any medical condition with concomitant nausea/vomiting and fever/pain. Migraine is a neurological condition that can cause severe throbbing pain or a pulsing sensation, usually on one side of the head, eyes, face, and neck. Symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, difficulty speaking, numbness or tingling, and sensitivity to light and sound. Domperidone and paracetamol is a combination of two drugs, namely: domperidone and paracetamol. Domperidone prevents nausea and vomiting symptoms by blocking certain receptors that stimulate the vomiting centre located in the brain. It also acts as a prokinetic agent that increases the upper gastrointestinal tract's motility and helps in decreasing the stomach emptying time.
