The machine is fitted with an asutomatic take-up device designed to keep an even tension on the main drive for efficient power transmission. A spring loaded take-up on the secondary vee-belt drive between the rolls ensures constant belt tension and quiet operation. The rolls are spring loaded to minimize the risk of damage should foreign material enter the nip of the rolls. Large inspection doors are fitted to the body to allow easy access for checking roll adjustment and the inside of the machine. A feed roll to ensure even spread of pellets across the width of the roll is available as an option.
