These complex custom design stickers or Pressure Sensitive Labels are commonly used in different industrial applications. The top most layer of these Pressure Sensitive Labels are either made in paper or film (film used when transparency is needed) that is basically printed with multi-color graphics. There is an adhesive below the printed layer and a second layer of paper or film. After releasing the printed layer from the other layer, it is applied on to the container by using a controlled pressure application. Furthermore, the pressure activates the adhesive and labels the glue on to the container in high-speed label application equipment. Flexography is used at PPL for printing Pressure Sensitive Labels.
