Qt-ml3 Soil Moisture Temperature Sensor Application: Earthing

The QT-ML3 can be used for various type soil and media moisture measurement, and can be used as a basic tool for sentinel surveillance or portable measurement.

Principle:-
Using FDR(frequency domain reflectometry) principle, the sensor emits a fixation frequency electromagnetic wave, electromagnetic waves transmitted along the probe, after reaching the bottom of the probe and returned, measuring the output voltage of the probe. Due to the dielectric constant of the soil usually depends on the soil moisture, according to the relationship between the output voltage and soil moisture derived the soil water content.
