Raksha Ovac Trivalent Vaccine

Raksha Ovac Trivalent Vaccine prevents and protects cloven footed animals from Foot and Mouth Disease caused by O, A and Asia1 strains. Foot and Mouth Disease attacks cattle, buffaloes, sheep, goats, pigs and other mammals that have cloven (split) hoofs. In female animals the virus also affects the udder in the milk producing mammary glands, causing a drop in milk production. However the decrease in meat and milk production by adult animals result in great economic losses. Foot and Mouth Disease nevertheless remains a menace to livestock raisers and the meat-packing, dairy, leather and wool industries. There is no cure for Foot and Mouth Disease. The disease can be controlled through regular use of vaccines only

COMPOSITION : Raksha Ovac Trivalent FMD Oil Adjuvant vaccine contains tissue culture virus strains a O, A and Asia1 a and inactivated with Aziridine compound. Mineral oil is added as an adjuvant. Thiomersal 0.01% w/v added as preservative
