DESCRIPTION
C.R.I AKASH Regenerative monoset pump's volute chamber and impellers are designed to give the best possible hydraulic efficiency and suction lift characteristics. Sealing is by means of a bellows mechanical seal made of carbon and ceramic fitted over the shaft, which is ground to close tolerance. These pumps are powered by a totally enclosed fan cooled A.C induction two pole and four pole motor, suitable for continuous duty. Motor stator is made of low watt loss silicon steel laminations assembled under pressure and rigidly locked in the frame. Dynamically balanced rotor ensures vibration free and noise free operations and increases life of the bearings and seal. The windings are of high-grade enamelled copper wire and are varnish impregnated. Construction of motor frames and usage of quality materials result in high performance and low temperature rise thereby increasing the life cycle of the motor. A thermal cutout relay (motor protector) is incorporated in two pole single-phase motors. All single-phase pumps require an adequate starter/motor protection control panel.
