SFP products include compact optical transceivers and patch cord cable assemblies that are typically used in telecommunications, data communications, and storage area networks.

The connector used with SFP cage is a 0.8mm (.0315"), 20 position, surface mount right angle connector and supports the high speed and physical compactness while also being hot-swappable. SFP transceivers are designed to support Gigabit Ethernet, Fiber Channel, and other communication standards as well and can perform up to 4.25 Gbps.

With the Pluggable Concept modules can be easily interchanged, electro-optical or fiber optic networks can be upgraded and maintained more conveniently. This gives a substantial cost savings both in maintenance and in upgrading efforts.

Integrated Electronic supplies SFP cage and the connector in Press Fit and solder type in 1x1, 1x2, 1x4, 1x6, and stackable 2x1, 2x4 and 2x6 SFP Cage and Connectors. IE also offer SFP, the 10 Gbps Cage & Connectors with EMI Springs or Elastomeric Gasket.
