It is as a luminary with efficient Controller, all installed on pole with hardware & cables. It is lighted by a solar photo voltaic panel and is completely isolated from other power source. The energy is generated & used at the same place. It does not require long distance cables running and hence less transmission losses. This is a renewable source of energy and cost effective.
