The unit operates from 24V DC power and takes the input from proximity switch. The input pulses from the proximity switch are converted to voltage. This voltage is compared with the set value and a relay is operated. A hysterisis is provided to avoid the chattering of the relay during slow pick-up and shut-off. The unit is calibrated to operate between 60 rpm to 9999 rpm. The relay is on during starting, which is indicated by LS LOW SPEED Red LED. As the speed increases and crosses the set value, the relay is de-energized. The relay is energized when the speed falls below the set value by an amount set by the hysterisis.
