The extruded cylindrical strip moist granules are fed in the Spheronizer rotating disc , which turn at a very high speed, cuts the input material into short cylindrical granulates of uniform length. Due to the combined action of the centrifugal force of product and air entering from the gap between the disc and product container wall and the air push force between turntable and material canister wall produces a uniform three dimensional rolling movement of product against the wall of container. The moist granules are spheroids shaped and their surface is smoothened by the intensive rolling movement.
