Telmisartan & Amlodipine Tablets IP provides synergism between the two drugs that offers relief from hypertension by lowering the blood pressure through vasodilatation which reduces peripheral resistance to blood flow, thereby improving the cardiac output. It is also used together with other medications to treat heart failure and diabetic kidney disease. Treating high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems.
