The Trek Fuel Ex 9 27.5in Mountain Bike 2015 has been constructed around an Alpha Platinum Aluminium frame whereby Trek's premium alloy has been formed into sophisticated tube shapes to create maximum strength and durability while allowing the frame to remain light in weight. For the suspension side of things, this Trek mountain bike has been given a Fox Performance Series 32 Float fork on the front and for the rear a Fox Performance Series Float shock; both of these suspension components feature CTD technology for an intuitive high performance.

When it comes to versatility, the Fuel Ex 9 uses fast-rolling 27.5" wheels which give you the nimbleness and quickness that 26" wheels offer and the stability of 29ers. Lastly, the Ex 9 uses Trek's patented Active Braking Pivot (ABP) which lets your suspension work freely whether or not you're on the brakes, offering a smooth and controlled suspension at all times.
