Precipitated Calcium Carbonate(PCC) is an ultra-fine, ultra-pure, new class of mineral filler that has been engineered to provide the highest quality features and benefits for ink manufacturers. During the processing of PCC from its limestone base, a contaminant known as iron is removed by means of water-washing. This efficiently removes all traces of iron from the PCC slurry before drying and milling. The result is an absolutely pure product that is free from any impurities that could cause staining in high-quality printing inks or transfer problems in paper. It can be used in any type of plastics and rubbers as a filler. DM-3 is a kind of white powdery materials with high purity, low oil absorption, bright color, good dispersion.
