Universal Governer Apparatus

We offer our customers a wide range of Universal Governer Apparatus. The drive consists of a D.C. Motor mounted vertically on a rigid base plate. The Governor spindle is also supported vertically on same basic plate with ball bearings, so it is free to rotate. The spindle is driven by motor with belt and pulley system. The optional governor mechanisms van is mounted on spindle. Precise speed control is afforded by the speed control unit and an extension to the spindle shaft allows the use of a hand technometer (not in scope of supply) to determine the speed. The governor speed is increased in steps to give suitable sleeve movements possible. The speeds and sleeve movement are recorded.
