The mechanism involved in the vacuum oven is that the product in the oven is surrounded by a vacuum and this vacuum prevents heat transfer with the product through convection and removes a source of contamination. The Outer is made of CRCA SHEET. The inner chamber is made of S.S/ both made of stainless steel and are insulated with special high grade insulation. It is suitably designed to with stand a vacuum of 76mm of Mercury. Heating is provided electrically. Temperature up to 200C. The unit is fitted with vacuum gauge, inlet & Outlet Nozzles but without vacuum pump. Door is fitted with toughened glass window for observations.
