Weld Metal 308l Stainless Steel Welding Electrodes

WELD METAL 308L is a rutile-type stainless steel electrode suitable for welding AISI 301, 302, 304, and 308-grade stainless steel. It is specially designed to yield a weld deposit of extra-low carbon and 18Cr-8Ni-grade stainless steel. The weld metal is highly resistant to cracks, corrosion, and scaling at temperatures up to 800A C. It operates well on AC or DC (+) in all conventional positions. It is easily striking or re-striking, with very little spatter, and easily removes slag with an excellent bead appearance and radiographic quality weld.
