The cream is pasted on top of bottom Platform and brought to the contact with top platform so that both platforms come to contact with cream. Before pulling bottom platform downward, see the digital display is on and showing zero (0) load in grams. Pull the bottom platform downwards and observed the display. Load is increasing and at the time of separation of two platforms, it show the maximum load required to separate two platforms. This maximum load will be hold by display. This is known as pick hold value. The display will show zero ( 0 ) only after pressing preset button of display.
