NEEM AROMA Botanical Name- Azadirachta indica. Neem aroma is a naturally occurring pesticide found in seeds from the neem tree. It is yellow to brown, has a bitter taste, and a garlic/sulfur smell. It has been used for hundreds of years to control pests and diseases. Components of neem aroma can be found in many products today. Properties - Antifungal, antiviral, antibacterial, antiseptic, insect repellent and anti-inflammatory. Diction to use Hair- When using Neem aroma, dilute it in any of carrier or base oils like olive, coconut, almond, Sesame oil, or jojoba oil (Can use between 10 t0 20% neem aroma in a blend. also add 4 to 5 drops of lavender aroma to remove smell, as well as enhance its effect). apply this on scalp and hair and massage gently.Cuts and Wounds-To treat abrasions and wounds on the skin, mix one part neem aroma to five parts aloe vera gel or petroleum jelly. Rub into the wound or cut to treat it. Use this mixture two times a day on affected areas. Never apply neem aroma to skin without diluting it; this causes skin irritation.Lice- Head lice is a pain, and most OTC treatments include strong, toxic pesticides and other chemicals. Use neem aroma to treat head lice naturally instead. Mix the neem aroma with existing shampoo by adding a few drops, or make a mixture of half shampoo and half neem aroma and rub it into hair. Let the mixture soak into head, and then shampoo hair. Repeat this procedure until the lice are gone. Mixing neem aroma with shampoo is also good for other scalp issues such as dandruff and dry scalp.Bath-Add 2-4 drops of in one bucket warm water and take bath. Caution Not to be taken orally. Do not use aroma for children age below one year. Reduce the number of aroma drops to half or one fourth according to age in children below12 Years. Never use aroma directly. Always mix them with base or carrier oil. Avoid in pregnancy, lactation, infants, patients with epilepsy, asthma, heart problems, cancer,fever, allergy, infectious skin conditions, post operative period. Avoid contact with eyes, genital area, open wounds. Store in cool and dry place, away from sunlight, heat and children. Close the cap tightly and avoid contact with water. USES Hair- Oily scalp, itchy, scalp, dandruff, lice and nits, prevent graying of hair stimulates hair follicle.Nail bed infection, athlete foot.Hand wash, foot bath and antiseptic.Burns, acne, boils, eczema, wounds, psoriasis, dry skin, allergy, insect bites, white patches, prickly heat.Face wash for boils, oily face, acne, after sun exposure, add 2 drops in 200ml water.In sitz bath for vaginitis, prostate, piles, cystitis, fissure, white discharge (add 5 to 10 drops in tub of hot water)Fissure and piles-Apply directly with small cotton ball.
