Psyllium Husk (Regular): Background:
We all know very well that psyllium husk is only an upper coat of psyllium seed, which is grown only in Indian western territory (due to its comfortable climate conditions).. Psyllium Husk is only fibers, in which around 80% fibers are water soluble & 20% are insoluble fibers. This product becomes gummy on adding water but it is not gum. It is mucilage or laxative. It absorbs water and prepares a jelly bowel which moves easily downwards, cleaning/cleansing stomach thoroughly. Psyllium husk form, when DE-coated from psyllium seeds is flakes. Some of the seed properties remain on de-coating husk which has some proteins and fats.

From Generations psyllium husk and psyllium seed is used in India as a remedy of constipation and coolant in north and east India. Psyllium Husk is used with cold water at noon to protect from heat and heatstroke.

How it works: Psyllium husk has two major properties:
A. Water Soluble Fibers : Water soluble fibers are nearly 80% in psyllium husk which dilutes in water and pass through food pipes with food extracts which goes direct into blood. These soluble fibers bind fat molecules in blood and convert it to water soluble content & moves thoroughly from human body.

B. Water Non-Soluble Fibers: These water non-soluble fibers are nearly 20%, which passes through food pipes, cleaning/cleansing the surface of food pipes (if taken at early morning with empty stomach). If you take Psyllium Husk with food/meal, it bulks the food by absorbing water which helps in fermentation process of our human body with its fibers properties and builds smooth stool/bowel with its mucilage properties which passes trough food pipe system smoothly.

WHY PSYLLIUM HUSK POWDER IS BETTER THAN PSYLLIUM HUSK (FLAKES): Psyllium husk is only fibers that are always hard to digest in its original form (flakes). For its best utilization, powder is must. Grinding of the material is a very sensitive issue. This process has to be done in very cold process. Specialization is required in grinding by not letting the material get heated, so that we can retain its optimum properties. Generally psyllium husk absorbs 60 times water, takes more time to dissolve. On other hand psyllium husk powder dissolves at its earliest in water. Moreover, if it is blended with citric acid and sodium bi-carbonate it spreads very quickly in the body and binds food to make it a smooth bowel. If you are using psyllium husk flakes will act as laxative and if it is powdered will give many benefits like consumption in blood directly and making free flow blood, reducing blood impurities. Use of 5 grams of psyllium husk flakes of any purity will be equivalent to 3 to 3.5 grams of psyllium husk powder (60 meshes) of that particular purity (according to our research). This way psyllium husk powder is always far better than psyllium husk (flakes).
