Waste Recycling Extruder

This is a Waste Recycling Extruder and could be used for reprocessing Nylon, Delrin, Polycarbonate, ABS, Polyester and such other hygroscopic materials.
Reprocessing of Hygroscopic materials is challenging, as high quantities of moisture and volatiles are to be removed from the melted plastic before extruding through die, to prevent air entrapment inside the product. The extruder barrel of vented extruder is provided with single or multiple vents and the screw is specially designed to decompress the melt at vent zones to facilitate removal of moisture and voaltiles through the barrel vents, if necessary through vauum pump. By refining the melt in such a way, and extruding through the pelletising die, quality is standard and there is no entrapped air inside the pellets.

If necessary, additives such as glass fibres could be added through a vent port for re-inforcement.
The Extruder machine is fitted with high capacity AC induction drive, belts, pulleys, Helical gear box with integral thrust bearing, nitride ahrdened screw/barrel set, pelletising die. Downstream equipments consist of water trough for cooling the hot plastic strands coming out of extruder, rotary pelletiser for chopping the cooled strands into small length pellets & motor & temperature control panel with PID controllers & instrumentation.
Output capacities are from 40 Kg/hour to 150 Kg/hour depending on the size of Extruder.
